Growing up in pageants and having a Miss America judge for a mother, Evangelin is no stranger to the beauty industry. Evangelin realized early on what an impact image makes and how we are judged by our appearance. Passionate and committed to helping others with their personal journey of beauty Evangelin became a stylist in 1995 then later opened her own salon in 2011. She has won several hair awards and been selected as one of the country's top stylists on Bravo TV's hit show, Shear Genius! Evangelin has trained with some the most famous stylist in the world. She enjoys teaching and mentoring all the staff that work at the salon and holds them to very high standards. Evangelin believes with all her heart that what she does is truly an art form and not paint by numbers. Education and passion are key. Every head is different and every client becomes a work of art.
Wren has been a stylist at the salon since 2013. She was the owners first Apprentice. Wren has a very relaxed manner and enjoys listening to her clients to ensure their needs are met. Wrens strengths are her beautiful natural highlighting techniques and her ability to pick colors that compliment her client’s style. She love ‘s giving more than what the clients expect and her goal is to make every person in her chair feel beautiful. Education includes: Mentored by Evangelin ,CND nail certified ,Brazilian Blow Out & Keratin certified , Framesi color education ,Eufora pro classes . Wren is committed to continuing education and loves what she does.
Born in south central Pennsylvania and raised in both Pennsylvania and the west coast of Florida. Karissa studied cosmetology at The Manhattan Hairstyling Academy in Tampa, FL and graduated in 2006, in record time and with top honors. This has afforded her the opportunity to bring something unique to the area. While having her finger on the pulse of high-end east coast trends, she is also able to intuitively create those easy-going beach vibes. Karissa loves to make each client feel at ease, with thorough and knowledgeable consultations; pampered, with attention to detail; beautiful and trendy, by utilizing impeccable skill and styling. She views each client in her chair as the boss and if you allow her to be your creative director, she promises to exceed your expectations. In her leisure time she enjoys keeping up to date with hair trends around the world, by traveling with her husband. Inspired by her travels, she brings exotic, classy styles back to your chair!
Karen was born in Birmingham, England but has lived in the Untied States for the past 20 years. Previously she was a casino dealer and stay home mom to her son. Living just a block from the salon she stumbled on the help wanted sign and the rest is history! Karen is Evangelin’s assistant, shampoo professional as well as the salons client specialist. Her passion for the salon and all the clients that come in is evident. Her mission, during your visit to our beautiful salon is to help you feel pampered and special! Whether it is washing away your stress and tension with a massage or serving you a bit of tea. Karen will be there to help with all your needs.
Ashlyn Price began apprenticing at Evangelin A Boutique Salon in 2013 and graduated, Robert Paul Academy, in Spring of 2014. Ashlyn has always had an interest in the beauty industry . Doing nails was her first passion that expanded her interest to a career in the cosmetology field were she could be more creative. Ashlyn trained under Evangelin for months before taking the salon floor by storm. Ashlyn loves cutting and styling hair. She enjoys showing her creative side through makeup and updos as well. Ashlyn is CND nail certified , she has taken Neuma, Framesi, and Eufora classes. She loves to go to hair shows and is committed to continued education and perfecting her craft. Making people feel relaxed and stress-free while they're enjoying services in the salon is her specialty.
My Journey started in Portugal where I became inspired by classic European cutting and color. After training on the Jersey Shore, I made my home in South Central PA where I continued to hone my craft thru European inspired training classes. Making other women feel unique and beautiful in today’s ever changing world has always filled me with an immeasurable amount of pride. Whether it’s performing a classic cut, color or a low maintenance Keratin Smoothing Treatment, my goal is to make sure each client leaves feeling the best version of themselves. In my leisure time, I love to be inspired by food and traveling. When I am not traveling the world with my husband, I love to sit around the table with good friends, good wine and great homemade Portuguese food.
Melissa Keuler started as a member of this incredible team in August of 2019, after being a client since her early high school years. Melissa grew up in New Freedom, PA and graduated from Susquehannock High School. From there she went on to Penn State University, Main Campus, where she spent four years studying Early Childhood Education. She returned to the area after college to accept her dream job teaching kindergarten nearby in Hanover, PA. Melissa can be found helping at the front desk and pampering our guests. She loves being a part of such a positive environment and watching everyone who comes in the door leave feeling like the best version of themselves. Melissa believes the salon is her happy place and couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of something so special. She looks forward to getting to know you and making your salon visit a special one too!
Morrigan has always been fascinated with the beauty industry. In July of 2014, Morrigan started her journey in the industry by enrolling to Empire Beauty School of York. Her time in school was filled with information as she tried to learn everything she could to strengthen her skills. In April of 2015, she graduated from Empire Beauty School of York with her license in Cosmetology. Morrigan transitioned out of an assistant to an official stylist quickly. She has attended many classes through Art of Business, including Grad School, Eufora Elite Stylist Quarterly meetings, and many more. She also traveled as far as San Diego, California for Eufora’s Global Connection. Fashion colors, modern hair cutting techniques and exceptional men’s cut training are her specialty. Morrigan is always eager to further her knowledge. Since joining Evangelin A Boutique salon team in 2017 she has continued her education even more and truly loves hair coloring and making her clients feel beautiful.
